How to block pop-ups in your browser

Pop up windows creates a lot of mess these days and a they also create a lot of annoyance. Pop-Up windows have some ads or they can have some sign-up forms or there can anything in them. There are many ways to overcome this problem.

                                   So in this post I am going share a few ways through which you can block Pop-Up windows but before continuing I shall tell you that blocking pop ups depends on different browser.

 So I am going to share how to block pop ups in different browsers. This tutorial goes like this –

1. Mozilla Firefox

• Click “Tools”.
• Now click “Options”.
• Now open the “Content” tab.
• In the content tab make sure you check the check box which says “Block Pop-Up windows.”
• Save the settings.

Note: By default the check box is already checked.

2. Internet Explorer

• Click “Tools”.
• Click “Internet Options”.
• Open the “Privacy” tab.
• Check the check box which says “Turn on Pop-up Blocker”.
• Save the settings.

3. Opera

• Click “Tools”.
• Now click “Preferences”.
• Now open the “General” tab.
• Now click either “Block unwanted pop-ups” or “Block all pop-ups” from the drop down menu by the “Pop-ups” section.
• Save the settings.

4. Google Chrome

• Click the “Wrench” option.
• Now click “Options”.
• Now open the “Under the hood” tab.
• Now click “Content Settings” under the “Privacy”.
• Now click the Pop-Up section on the left.
• Now click the bubble next to “Do not allow any site to show pop-ups.”
• Save the settings.
